It’s been a little bit since I’ve posted.  The main reason is that I’ve been working and I’ve been sick.  Between those two and family, not much time for thinking of semi-meaningful things to say.

Life actually has been very good lately.   What ever was up with Miss Becca and her attitude has seemed to have adjusted herself.   She’s being a joy again.   She’s talking more than ever and if we could just get her to go potty then things would be really good.    She has just a wonderful sense of humor and makes us laugh with the things she comes up with.  Here is an example of a conversation we had in the car on Friday.

Me:  When are you going to pee-pee in the potty?

Becca:  I only twos.

Me:  Yes, but aren’t you a big girl now and can go pee-pee in the potty?

Becca:  I only twos, mommy.

Me:  So when will you pee-pee in the potty?

Becca:  When I three

Thank goodness that happens in July.   She’s going to be one that on her birthday will decided that she is three and will be fully potty trained.  

Ben is getting to the end of Kindergarten.  Wow!  It’s gone by fast.   He’s learned so much and I’m thinking of ways that we can continue the learning through the summer.  

Today was a wonderful Mother’s day.   The kids were so cute with their cards and gifts.  Ben made a wonderfully cute pot holder at school and a magnet.  They also got me an iTunes gift card for my new iPod that they gave me.  It’s so much fun to listen to and play with.   We took Grandma Barb and Papa Al to brunch today, really it was a perfect day.   The only way it could be better would be if my mom was able to celebrate with us.
